Common questions

Which French universities teach in English?

Many public universities run English-taught master’s programmes, including Paris-Saclay, Sorbonne Université, Université Paris Cité, Lyon 1, Grenoble Alpes, Côte d’Azur, Strasbourg, Lorraine and Bordeaux. Most business-school MSc programmes are fully in English.

How much are tuition fees in France for Pakistani students?

At public universities, new non-EU students pay €2,902 a year for a bachelor’s and €3,950 for a master’s in 2026/27, unless the university grants an exemption. Business schools usually charge about €10,000–€30,000 a year.

Do I apply to the university or to Campus France?

Both. For public universities you apply inside the Etudes en France platform during the candidature campaign. For business schools you apply to the school first, then open a pre-consular Campus France file for the visa.

Is IELTS needed for France?

Campus France Pakistan asks for an IELTS or another English certificate in every file. English-taught master’s programmes commonly ask for 6.0–6.5.

Can I apply with a 2-year or 3-year bachelor’s?

A 16-year (4-year) bachelor’s is the safest for master’s entry. Shorter degrees are assessed case by case; some schools offer a pre-master year.

Are private business schools recognised?

Campus France Pakistan asks you to check that your institution is listed in the WHED database. Many schools also hold EQUIS, AACSB or AMBA accreditation. We only shortlist recognised schools.
