For the DSU scholarship
- Bangladesh is on Italy’s list of particularly poor countries for 2026/27 (Ministerial Decree 176/2026).
- In most regions you need a certificate from the Italian Embassy in Dhaka instead of a full income-based ISEE.
- Some agencies still ask for extra papers, such as a property valuation certificate.
- Bangladesh is due to leave the UN least-developed countries list in late 2026, so check the 2027/28 list.
- Documents need notary, MOFA attestation, embassy legalisation and Italian translation.
Start early. Attesting, apostilling and translating documents usually takes 4 to 8 weeks. We work with Bangladeshi students online, from your first shortlist to arrival in Italy.
